How to Request a Home Visit

If you require a home visit, please try and call the surgery before 10.30am. 

A doctor will call you back to assess the problem. They will either:

  • provide help with telephone advice
  • arrange a home visit 
  • arrange hospital attendance 

Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound due to illness or disability.

Please keep in mind:

  • It is safe for children with a fever to come to the surgery. 
  • Colds are best treated with simple measures, such as rest, plenty of fluids and paracetamol.
